What’s inspiring about Forrest Gump?

Gump… you have probably heard about the movie right? Even if you haven’t
exactly seen the movie, you at least must have heard something about it,
especially the common quote “Run Forrest Run”. Anyway that’s not what we were
going to discuss; many people could agree that the movie is quite inspiring and
there are plenty of reasons for that… now that is exactly what we are going to
approach in here.

Gump, that name doesn’t sound too interesting although it does ignite some confusion
because it’s not a common name, however his life was actually really
interesting, the movie focus all around this guy who everyone considers dumb
and yet somehow he has a good portion of luck in life getting things when least
expected, the best outcome in life without trying too hard.
The reason
this movie became some sort of icon is because the complex –not so complex
actually- message that leaves behind; it’s the hope engraved in each scene that
displays. Hope is what every person needs, well one of those things that are
top in priorities, hope is needed in our lives because it acts as an emotional
mechanism of defense playing an important role in how we deal with those
situations that are so hard to endure, and hope is always there to remind us
that we can hold on and this pain or misfortune will pass at some point, that’s
what we see in Forrest Gump’s story and that is why is so inspiring.
