The role of Jenny in Forrest Gump's film
Forrest
Gump's film illustrates many situations of this character who has the same name
as the film. But also, being one of the relevant characters, you can cite a
woman in his life, which is Jenny Curran. This woman accompanied Forrest from
her childhood, in other words it was always the love of her life, although at
first she did not reciprocate the love he showed, but at the end of the movie,
this Forrest dream was achieved, and she married with his beloved. Jenny went
through difficult times from childhood, which apparently strongly marked her
personality, and which can also explain those changes of character she had.
She was
raped by her father, she went through periods of drug addiction, prostitution,
hippie times, everything to find meaning in her life, after so much pain, but
she did not realize that the tranquility she always wanted was with Forrest,
but I do not accept her love and respect, although when she did it was a bit
late, she had contracted Sida, and died after marrying Forrest.
I think
this movie can be associated with real life. when at certain times we want
something or we try to free ourselves from a problem, and we do not realize
that the solution is easier than we think. Children, young people or adults
often take something and we obsecionamos with it, to such an extent that we
concentrate too much and collapse in if.
And it is
here when Jenny is a faithful reflection of this situation, where the
spectators must take in this fact to reflect on taking advantage of the
opportunities and not letting us down, that there is always a way out, and it
is up to us if this is taken advantage of sooner or later , be happy or not, as
well as Jenny and Forrest.
